Despair, pain, long treatment and rehabilitation, and as a result, the whole team has gone far ahead. But Dmytro, thanks to tenacity, perseverance and great willpower, overcame the consequences of the injury, made up for lost time and, despite his profession as a leading engineer in the shipbuilding industry, not only did not give up his dream, but also became the coach of the MDEM football team at the enterprise where he works . And his team, in two years of its existence, became a bronze medalist at the City Championship and was invited to participate in the Regional Championship. After all, common values and goals make his team effective, and perseverance and the right approach always lead to victory.
Every year his collection was replenished with new species, careful care and attention to plants and there are already 300 species of cacti in the collection.
Despite the profession of a design engineer and professional work, Andrii, being a patriot of his country, after participating in the ATO/JFO, became a successful entrepreneur and, while remaining in Ukraine, grows cacti in his native land.
After demobilization, it was difficult to return to the usual way of life, the memories were burdensome and disturbing thoughts came at times. Oleksii decided to radically change his life and dreamed of creating a place-outlet where people with wounded souls could find the support of like-minded people, military guys could meet colleagues, patriots could discuss and implement their ideas for developing the city, and everyone could find theirs there.
Oleksii and Maryna are guys who went through the trials of war, did not despair, did not withdraw into themselves, but decided to turn their idea into a business that helps people adapt socially and Veteran Point is a place where you can rest your soul and be reborn to life!

Mykola Cherno is a massage therapist and musician.
When your life is permeated with music, it is in your heart, in your thoughts and you live it. Mykolai grew up in a musical family, studied at a music school since childhood, loved music and played the piano. Adult life made its own adjustments, and while working as a manager in a leather goods manufacturing company, I felt that I needed to radically change my life.
Having received the appropriate medical education, Mykolai professionally engaged in rehabilitation massages, and his musical fingers allowed him to subtly feel all the subtleties and nuances so necessary in this work. Mykolai did not give up his music studies, so you have a chance to hear musical works performed by him.
Sergii believes that his subject “Defense of the Fatherland” needs to be taught in such a way that students understand that they are receiving knowledge on which their lives may depend. And he felt this himself.
In 2014, Sergii defended the Donetsk airport and carried out tasks in the ATO/JFO zone, survived, passed all the tests and after returning returned to work at school, but now he decided to actively engage in the patriotic education of teenagers. Together with like-minded members of the Association of Participants and Veterans of the ATO, he organizes thematic events for schoolchildren under the slogan: “Never give up!”: survival camp, water trip, catamaran rafting, climbing wall, high-speed shooting competitions, training in first aid skills. Thanks to such people, we have the opportunity to cultivate correct consciousness in schoolchildren. After all, our children are what we invest in them!
